Hannah's YWAM Journey
What is YWAM? YWAM stands for Youth With A Mission, and it is a global missions movement dedicated to serving Jesus all over the World! Our goal is to know God, and to make Him known. I see YWAM as a lighthouse to the nations, shining God's light in the darkness! YWAM offers a variety of courses all centered on missions. To begin any degree track, you must first complete a DTS (discipleship training school) It is a 6 month course; the first 3 months consist of studying the Word and growing your relationship with God. Then we spend 3 months in another country preaching the Gospel and making God known!
My Story
I have always had a heart for missions, but I never took the jump to devote my life to it. When I heard about YWAM, I knew I found a way to fulfill God's calling on my life. I quit my job, and moved thousands of miles away, not knowing how much it would change my life!
I completed my DTS in March 2022. My team went to Zambia for our outreach, and we saw God do so many amazing things! We saw over 200 people give their lives to God, and many people get healed and delivered from oppression. If we had not obeyed God and stepped out of our comfort zones, we would have never seen these things happen!
I recently committed to another year with YWAM, starting September 2022. I completed and graduated from a course called SBS (School of Biblical Studies) It is one of the most intense Bible studies, reading the Bible through 5 times in 9 months!
